Details
IESE alumni chapters are geographical and sectorial networks of IESE alumni that facilitate professional networking and community engagement through events and initiatives worldwide. On 27th March, the Alumni Chapter Presidents will be on campus for their Alumni Presidents Meeting. On that day, you have the opportunity to network with an Alumni President to learn from their professional experience and get advice for your job search.
Event Format:
The event will take place in south campus cafeteria from 16:15h to 17:15h (there might be online sessions available as well, at different times). Each Alumni President will be available for a conversation with up to 5 students.
You can select the Alumni President you wish to speak with.
Purpose: The goal of these sessions is to engage in informal conversations with IESE Alumni Chapter Presidents to learn from their professional experiences and receive guidance on your job search. These sessions are designed to be informal and insightful discussions—not opportunities to directly ask for jobs.
Instructions:
Register for a slot with the Alumni President of your choice. You can only chat with one Alumni President to ensure a smooth flow of conversation.
Only sign up if you are certain you can attend, as each session is limited to 5 students.
Be punctual and conduct prior research before attending the session.
Engage interactively and include other participants in the discussion.
For virtual sessions, use the hand raise feature and keep your camera on.
Do not ask for jobs. Instead, consider discussing topics such as:
- Your experience at Jamestown US-Immobilien. What led you to work there?
- What has kept you there over time?
- What is it like on the inside, specifically in your role?
- What are some of the most important tasks you handle in this role?
- What do you spend the most time on?
- What do you love about the role, and what challenges do you face?
- We look forward to your participation and hope you find this session valuable for your career development.
