European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC), an initiative of InnoEnergy, is at the forefront of fostering innovative enterprises (NewCos) in industries traditionally resistant to decarbonization efforts. Our focus areas include green steel production through GravitHy and low-carbon fertilizer with FertigHy. Over the past 18 months, EGHAC has been working in the strategic development of eFuel producers across Europe. Our comprehensive approach encompasses securing biogenic CO2 sources, land procurement, grid connectivity, active market participation, and meticulous technology evaluation. Adhering strictly to the European regulatory framework governing the eFuel sector, EGHAC is committed to transparency and collaboration. We are poised to divulge our insights from the challenging Spanish market scenario, inviting stakeholders to engage with us in identifying viable solutions for sectors where carbon reduction is particularly daunting. As we prepare to present our findings on the Spanish market’s unique challenges at the upcoming workshop at IESE Business School, we invite attendees to delve into the complexities and explore alternative strategies for hard-to-abate sectors.
