A Business Management graduate of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) with an MBA from the IESE business school, the executive began her professional career at Boston Consulting Group before transferring to the finance sector. Between 2008 and 2013 she worked for Caixa Catalunya, where she occupied roles in the Management Control, Pricing and Finance departments during the process of the bank’s merger and request for aid from the European Union.
Margarita Salvans joined Mango in 2013 and since then she has occupied various positions of responsibility in the departments of Store Provisioning, Internal Control and Management Control, where she has helped Mango’s various channels and business lines achieve their targets. The executive has also supported the general management during the company’s transformation process.
In April 2020, Margarita Salvans was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the company and joined its Steering Committee. Since 2024, Salvans has been a member of Mango's board of directors.
