E-commerce Foundations

E-commerce has grown so far in almost all industries we know, in fast fashion for example physical stores have loosing more and more traffic and companies are changing their strategy to meet customer´s new behavior. This session covers an introduction to e-commerce, the idea is to walkthrough how an e-commerce is set-up, how payments and fraud work, how the ecosystem looks like and core activities of e-commerce companies. Additionally, students will be able to have a hint on how day-to-day in an e-commerce company looks like and how overall business landscape has changed due to fast paced growing of e-commerce.
