Born and raised in the US, Sam moved to Berlin 8 years back to study and then eventually work in the tech scene of Berlin. She comes with 6 years of experience within HR & Talent Acquisition and joined SumUp in October of 2020, where she leads recruitment for one of our tech teams. She wishes that during her uni experience, she had more opportunities to learn about what's out there in the career world and is therefore particularly happy to join tonight's discussion!

Gizem has been working as a Candidate Experience Coordinator in the People team at SumUp for the last 3 months. She is originally from Turkey but has been living in Berlin for almost 3 years now. She is passionate about gender equality and travelling!

Victoria is a global executive with 20 years of international background who works with C-level leaders to transform business modelsacross various sectors (BFSI, industrial, ...).

Mining engineer by education, she is also IESE GEMBA Alumni (2010).

She has built a career combining leading corporations such as Caterpillar, AXA, … with growth ventures and advisory covering widely EAME, Americas and APAC markets.

Her executive work focused on the areas of business and distribution development, innovation and digital transformation solutions, sales and service go-to-market and operating models and connecting effectively the dots between markets / customers reality and needs with digitalization and automation technology trends (portals, robotics RPA, IoT, AI, ...).

Passionate about technology enabled business models, she is especially interested on leveraging digital solutions to support ESG and sustainability goals.

Victoria is from Oviedo (Asturias), so needs to live close to nature, mountains, lakes and oceans.

Together with business, her favorite subjects are cross-cultural management and history, what made her be willing to travel and work in different cultures France, Mexico, ...

Also, design and creative industries are part of her interests e.g. while she was living and working in Paris, she did painting courses at the Musée du Louvre and loves photography, ...

Alexandra Rada

Walmart Chile

Alexandra Rada is currently the Anti-Corruption Director for Walmart in Chile. In her role, Alexandra leads the implementation and execution of Walmart’s Anti-Corruption´s program to ensure that the company (+48,000 associates) and key providers comply with all applicable Anti-Corruption regulations in Chile, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. As part of her role, she has led and managed the interaction with different external independent reviewers in the market.    

Prior to this role, Alexandra was Anti-Corruption Deputy Director since 2013 managing the due diligence process and contracts for company´s Third Party Intermediaries (more than 300 providers).

Before joining Walmart, Alexandra worked for 4 years at Carey and Cía (Chile´s largest law firm) as Associate Attorney in the Life Sciences and Information Technology Group assisting in cases related to clinical trials, distribution and licensing matters for pharmaceutical, healthcare, food products, cosmetics and medical devices companies. Prior to this role, Alexandra helped as Teacher´s assistant at the University of Chile.

Originally from Santiago, Alexandra holds a law degree from the University of Chile.

I started as an external auditor at the Grant Thorton company and later moved to the other side, to get the client's perspective and thus get the full picture of the things. Since then I have dedicated myself to management in several companies, mainly in the telecommunications sector. After a long time in finance and controlling, focused on Corporate Governance, I turned to the business side, entering into efficiency and transformation projects. 

I have lived in Madrid for a long time, the city I fell in love with, and now I have returned to the  beautiful Barcelona, for personal reasons. 

I love reading, art, anthropology and the person. I try to help women so that diversity enriches the environment in which I have moved (very masculine): finance, entrepreneurship and management.

Anna Pancini

Mother of 3: Charlie (3 year-old boy), Annita (2 year-old girl) and María (4 month-old girl). I started my adventure in healthcare in 2012, when I joined Grupo Fleury, the most renowned company in Brazil specialized in clinical analysis and image diagnosis (IBOV: FLRY3). Before that, I had the opportunity of working at Unilever and Whirpool.

I had amazing professional and academic experiences in Brazil, China, United States and Spain, and one of the most memorables was at MIT Media Lab (Boston, USA).   

In 2017, my husband and I moved from São Paulo to Spain. And I decided to dedicate my entire schedule to my family and to build the foundations of a solid marriage. As the children grow, I plan to come back to the healthcare sector.

Have worked at Unilever, Heineken and currently working at Reckitt Benckiser.

Married. Mother of 3 children and professional of the Real Estate & Construction Sector since 1987. Economist and IESE MBA87. Deeply convinced that a continuing Education is a need in these times of continuous changes that we live in.

Member of the Board of FINAVES IV (entrepreneurial fund of IESE) and “Fundación El LLindar”.

Interested in improving the Real Estate sector with proposals appropriate to the XXI century. From Gonsi 4.0 leads the bet for the reinvention of the role of the promoter and the managing spaces for economic activities. Focused on real sustainability based on the ”Circular Economy” and collaborative work to make it happen.

Her favourite word is “UBUNTU”, that in Xhosa (Nelson Mandela’s tribe) language means “I’m because you are”… “How can anyone be happy if others are sad?” Proof of it is GONSI’s recent project, located in Viladecans, the “Gonsi Sócrates Bio Building”, one of the more advanced buildings in Wellbeing & Wellworking and sustainability in Europe.
