Mireia Furriol, Partner Alliance Manager at HP and Ana de la Rosa, R&D Manager, will share their experience in the Tech industry and will carry out a workshop to show how 3D printing will revolutionise the industry, with live 3D design and printing of objects
Mireia Furriol is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and holds a PDD in Business Management from IESE.
She has more than 30 years of professional experience, mostly in Philips and in HP. Her main areas of expertise are Operations Management, Materials Management and Program Management. She currently works as Partner Alliances Manager for HP Large Format Printing Business.
She’s involved in the UPC M2m Program to mentor STEM women and recently joined the Board of Directors of the “Associació d’Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya” to promote the election of STEM studies to further meet market demands.
From a personal perspective , she’s married, has a son and daughter and enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as travelling, sports and cultural activities.
Ana de la Rosa was born in Catalonia. She has an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). During her university studies, she conducted research in France and Canada.
Working for HP since 2004, she originally started working as an engineer, promoted to R&D Manager of a global business unit based in the USA. Currently, she is an R&D Program Manager in the HP Large Format Printing Business.
As an active member of HP Women Network and passionate about education, she leads a workstream called STEM for Girls (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The main goal is to inspire girls towards STEM vocations for a more diverse and balanced world, while helping women to access to better professional job opportunities.
Mother of a boy and a girl, she loves spending time with close friends and mountain climbing.
