INDUSTRY INTERVIEW PREP - 1st Round Mock Interview Day
Registration
Registration is now closed (this event already took place).
Details
This is a great opportunity to enhance your interview skills and get valuable professional feedback from HRs working in our contact companies.
HRs from all sectors will come on campus to give you the opportunity to practice your interview.
We will assign randomly 3 to 4 students per HR – one 2:30-hour. Within this slot, you will be alternately the interviewee (x1) and an observer (x3).
(Please contact Ines Rosal if you have a specific request of sector).
Students participating to this event will be invited to attend a Networking Cocktail that will take place from 5:30 pm onwards in the South Campus lounge.
Please note:
These are not actual job-interviews: questions will be broad enough for you to benefit from the experience whatever your target-sector is.
You will mostly get feedback on:
- Non-verbal skills (body language, eye contact, pace, tone...)
- Verbal skills and content (ability to provide clear and concise answers, references to relevant examples...)
Schedule / rooms information is to be sent out later this week.
NB: if sign-up with HRs gets full, your interview might be scheduled with a Career Services coach.
Objectives:
- To practice mostly your skills storytelling (it is not a real interview or an industry motivation interview).
- To get valuable feedback
