Established in 1983, the IOSCO is the global standard setter for the global capital markets. IOSCO is tasked with developing, implementing and promoting adherence to internationally recognized standards for capital markets regulation and plays an important role in the design and their proper functioning. IOSCO works intensively with the G20 and the Financial Stability Board (FSB) on the global regulatory reform agenda.
