Energy Trek

Two to four day trek visiting MBA targetted companies in the Energy Sector or with business divisions linked to Energy. The trek overlaps with other sectors to give the participants a taste of different sectors that engage with energy. Get in contact with relevant decision makers, learn about the industry and seize the opportunity to initiate potential internship and/or full-time applications. London is the main trek city with Middle East treks also organised depending on interest levels. Previous visits have included: Boston Consulting Group, Saudi Aramco, British Petroleum, Gamesa, Schneider, Naturgy, Environmental Resources Management.


Global Energy Day

The keynote event of the Energy Club. Usually held towards the end of the year, the GED provides a combination of high profile speakers, moderator discussion panels, and networking to give the participants a deep insight into the energy sector and allow them to engage and network on current industry topics with contributors ranging from: Insititutional investors, Private Equity, Management Consultants, World Economic Forum, and global industrial players. 

Energy Intensive Seminar 

A start of year event designed to give students an overview of the different areas of the energy sector, with content ranging from company presentations, 2nd year student panels, internship opportunities, key speakers, startups and other topics.

Energy Hours

Run throughout the year during lunch break or after class hours. Get insights on the go from on-campus speakers talking about recent trends and industry news.

Company and Energy Plant Visits

Normally held after school in the evenings, the energy club also arranges visits to local energy facilities and companies involved in energy.

Other Events

Depending on engagement levels each year, the Energy Club also hosts and/or co-organises with other IESE Clubs on Energy Investment Competitions, training sessions, interview prep, webinars and Club quizzes.
