IESE Ryder Cup

Until now we’ve been able to test your skills in subjects such as Operations or Finance, your sports skills at football or tennis, and your dancing skills on BlinBling’s dancefloor. Now it’s time to prove your skills at a real sport that combines mental strength, physical prowess and coordination: GOLF.

We want to introduce you the event that it is WATCHED by MORE people than the SUPERBOWL and it will be replicated here in Barcelona for IESE Students and partners: The first edition of the IESE RYDER CUP.

IMPORTANT FACTS:

• I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO COMPETE?
  Don’t worry!! We will do two different groups based on handicap/skill. One competition will be at a full 18-hole course and the other will be at a Pitch&Putt course.
• WHEN?
  March 23^rd – YES on the same day as MULTICULTI. From experience, you will want to rest up the night before, and play some sports in the morning - we will be done by 2:30 pm. It will be the perfect warm-up for the most amazing party at IESE
• WHERE?
  TBD depending on the final number of participants
• HOW MUCH?
  Depending on which category you sign up. Approximate prices will be 40€ for the Pitch&Putt group and 80€ for the full 18-holes group. Prices will include clubs and Green fee.
• HOW DO I GET THERE
  Depending on the final number of participants, the IESE Golf Club will help get everyone there.
• TOURNAMENT FORMAT
  Four balls
• TEAMS
  TBD depending on the final number of participants but we are thinking either 1^st years vs 2^nd years, or something along the lines of Europe against the rest of the world. Whatever the teams will be, we guarantee a good sense of rivalry and competition.
