We invite you to experience the 3rd IESE Diversity & Inclusion Conference: Harnessing the Power of Difference on March 25th, 2022! A very special thanks to our sponsors: Diageo and BCG.

Join colleagues, pioneers, practitioners, advocates, and lifelong learners for the most important event of the year at IESE covering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This is not just another conference - come to have real conversations that translate into meaningful action and change.

The conference brings together global champions of DEI from various industries and disciplines and opens the floor for honest and critical discourse about today’s state of affairs. It aims to offer participants a better understanding of what corporations and individuals are doing to foster environments that are more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, as well as how they can challenge the status quo as current or future leaders of their respective organizations.

The conference is open to everyone that registers and will take place in person on Friday, March 25 from 9:45 am to 2 pm CET. It features an opening speech, one interactive workshop, one interview, one fireside chat, and a closing keynote. Small bites and a networking cocktail will follow from 2 pm.

Sessions will cover:
Initiatives and best practices companies are taking to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion challenges
Intersectional theory applied to diversity and inclusion initiatives
How to transform business and cultures to use the power of difference to spur creative strategic thinking which can ultimately transform brands

Lena Lodzinska is the founder and director of Instituto Inside Out, a professional coach, D&I facilitator and a qualified mindfulness MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) as well as a consultant at intercultures, provider of high quality, competence-based intercultural training, coaching and consulting She has more than 600 hours of experience in health, career, leadership and executive coaching. Prior to facilitating personal and professional growth through coaching and training, with a special focus on diversity and inclusion, she worked in communications, marketing and sales at multinational companies such as Yahoo!, Deutsche Telekom and Hill & Knowlton. Based in Barcelona, she works across borders in four languages: Spanish, English,

Diversity Equity & Inclusion Regional Operations Lead (Europe) at Pfizer

Originally from Messina, Sicily, Antonio graduated in International Politics Relations, and has held various roles across Europe, working for larger multinational companies in the industrial and pharmaceutical sector. In his current role, Antonio draws upon this international experience, which gives him an understanding of the different levels of maturity between countries and stakeholders on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics. He continues to serve as an ambassador for DE&I, learning from and sharing best practice, both in Pfizer and the external environment.

He serves as Operations and Engagement lead for the Diversity & Inclusion Council Europe, recognized at Pfizer as Global best practice – making a significant difference in transforming the company’s Equity value into meaningful action across the region.

Myrtha Casanova

Founder at European Institute for Managing Diversity

Myrtha B. Casanova was born in Cuba. She was politically exiled upon the arrival of Fidel Castro, and actively participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion. She speaks 5 languages and suffers from dyslexia.

She founded the European Institute for Managing Diversity in 1996, which researches and supports the implementation of strategic diversity management policies in cities, as well as in companies and institutions. Among many other activities, she sponsors “Artistas Diversos”, a non-profit association whose mission is to give visibility and promote the social and professional inclusion of artists with disabilities. She is the author of “El Poder de la Diferencia.” She has a doctorate in English and French Philology from the University of Havana, an advertising diploma from the Madrid School of Industrial Engineering and a PADE from IESE Business School.

Marketing Director Southern Europe at Diageo

A food chemist by training and a marketer by trade, Ursula has over 20 years of experience across Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, General Mills, and Mondelēz International. She has held positions in LATAM, USA, and Europe delivering solutions and business growth for several global billion-dollar brands such as Dawn (Fairy), Yoplait, Cheerios, Milka, Trident and Halls. She currently serves as the Marketing Director of Southern Europe at Diageo.
