On November 4th, 2016 the Responsible Business Club promoted its first Responsible Business Career Showcase. The objective was to inspire MBA students with a view of many possible impactful careers for after their study period.

We had the pleasure to have with us Oriol de Pablo, that after his MBA quit his job to co-found Joyners, transforming the marketplace of elders’ caregiving in Spain. Josep Biosca, from Ship2b, presented the liveliness of the social impact start-up ecosystem in Spain. He was followed by Jordi Molina, Managing Director at Meridia Capital, that shared the 8 things that they learned by investing in impact business for years.

To offer the perspective from a big company’s CSR department, we had the pleasure to hear Olga Durich, from CaixaBank, that highlighted the participation of CSR/sustainability in business development. They were followed by William Maize, IESE MBA Class of 2016 and now Senior Research Analyst at BlueField Research, that gave directions on how to look for a job related to your purpose. To finish, the IESE MBA second year students, Bhavna SakharaniPranav Ghei and Yuko Miyata shared their summer internship experiences.
