2017 Edition: Restore the rights and dignity of 10 million refugees

In the Fall of 2016, the Responsible Business Club held the first edition of HULT Prize@IESE. The competition, promoted by Hult Business School and supported by the Clinton Global Initiative, challenged groups of students to come up with business solutions that could help to restore rights and dignity of 10 million refugees.

With the support of the Innovation and Design Club, we held a Design Thinking workshop on November 17th:

After careful consideration of the pitches of 12 teams, the judges (Olga Porro/Ship2B, Prof. Echo Yuan Lao/IESE, Borja Espinosa/Red Cross and Anna Serena/IESE) choose team TALEM as the winner of the round!
Team Talem, the Latin word for empowerment, with vision to empower refugees to stand on their feet and start a new life by providing the necessary funds for their entrepreneurial ventures in their new home countries, is representing IESE to Regional.

Team Talem are James Fairbourn, Emma Giertz, Nikolaos Stamatiou and Francisco Rizzo.
