Path to Consulting Success (PCS) Series

Interactive session with 2nd year students from the class of 2026 who have managed to successfully convert their internships last year and are starting full-time positions at consulting firms after graduation. A great opportunity to learn what it takes to be successful with perspectives from different firms and regions.

Session with Owais Quettawala (CDC Associate Director, ex-Bain Manager) focusing on creating models on Microsoft Excel and learning basic to intermediate formulas covering majority of the formulas required by new consultants / consulting interns. Relevant for those who have had limited exposure to Excel / spreadsheets prior to the MBA.

Sessions with Javier Rotllant (ex-Bain Associate Partner and founder of NextEp). Part 1 will introduce an exercise and its exhibits, after which students will have around 2 weeks to prepare their analysis and presentation. In part 2, students will present their output and receive feedback from Javier in an interactive setting. Leverage information from other PCS sessions to produce high quality output!

Session with Sibei Lin (Think-Cell) focusing on slide design, use of graphs and other elements, and storytelling through Powerpoint presentations. Think-Cell is the standard tool used by almost all top consulting firms globally and is an add-in to Powerpoint.

Session introducing the various digital and AI tools used by consulting firms and how to leverage them best as a new consultant / consulting intern.

This session will equip you with vital skills and knowledge for excelling in strategy consulting, preparing you for your internships and full-time opportunities. Together with Pieterjan, we’ll in to critical aspects of strategic thinking and leadership, setting the stage for a successful and impactful beginning in your consulting journey.
