What is it like to build a startup and raise your first rounds? And what does the process look like from the investor side?
Join the IESE Startup & Entrepreneurship Club for a conversation bringing together the founder and investor perspectives. We’ll talk about entrepreneurship, fundraising, what investors look for in founders, career journeys, and the experience of women navigating the startup and VC ecosystem.
Women remain significantly underrepresented on both sides of the table: female-only founding teams receive around 2% of global VC funding, while less than 20% of VC partners are women.
Anna Muñoz Farré is the Founder & CEO of Punto Health, an AI-powered platform focused on dementia and cognitive care. With a background in biomedical engineering and AI, Anna will share her journey from scientist to entrepreneur, the experience of building Punto Health, and her learnings from recently raising the company’s Seed round.
Maria Beatriz de Orleans e Bragança is a Partner at Headline and an IESE MBA alumna. After starting her career in law, Bia used her MBA to pivot into venture capital and has since built a career investing in and supporting entrepreneurs. She’ll bring the investor perspective to the conversation, from what VCs look for in founders and startups to her own career transition.
