Subject: Info Session - MIT SPORTS ANALYTICS CONFERENCE Trek to Boston
Dear Club Members,
With apologies on the short notice, we would like to urgently summon up a club meeting this Wednesday, October 23rd at 1:00 pm in room B-102 in order to discuss the biggest project of the club for this year - the Sports Analytics Conference in MIT Sloan, presented by ESPN. We just received from the organizers the details around tickets, logistics, costs, accommodations, etc., and we need to act quick as student tickets go on sale today, Monday October 21. While the organizers have assured us that there is a fair amount of student tickets blocked before sale to the general public goes online, it is crucial that we act ASAP! We have negotiated also a group discount that we will discuss during the meeting.
At that time, we would also like to talk to all first years interested in getting involved in the organization of the trip, as those will most likely be the students who will take over this fantastic club when we graduate and make sure this turns into a successful IESE tradition. Please mark your calendars, grab a bocadillo or bring whatever lunch you have with you, and come to room B-102 on Wednesday!
