Operating since 1998, with ten branches and over 3000 volunteer guest teachers, IMC Weekend School takes children's curiousity seriously.  IMC Weekend School is a school for supplementary education for children aged ten to fourteen from underprivileged neighborhoods in the bigger cities of the Netherlands.

In 2009, IMC Weekend School was rewarded winner at the Marketplace of Ideas - United Nations, Alliance of Civilizations. In 2010, IMC Weekend School was finalist for the WISE Awards (World Innovation Summit for Education).

IMC Weekend School helped setting up successful sister-schools in Brussels (three branches) and Hong Kong. The organization currently looks out for social entrepreneurs in other countries who would want to set up Weekend Schools in their own communities.
