Join us on Tuesday, October 16 for an hour-long session with IESE's Professor José Luis Nueno, who will introduce us to the latest trends in the retail and luxury space. He will speak about the latest disruptions facing the biggest players in the industry, and the challenging transformations taking place across the customer profile, shopping needs, and the customer journey.
As the consumer changes, what can brands do to compete? What does the "new" customer look like? How are brands and retailers adapting store design and points of sale to keep up? How has the purchasing processed evolved? What does the retail landscape look like a decade from now?

Bio: José Luis Nueno holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Harvard), an MBA (IESE), and a Law Degree (Universitat de Barcelona). His areas of interest include distribution channels and manufacturer/distributor relationships. Prof. Nueno has published articles on retailing, globalization, marketing of consumer goods and luxury goods and relationship marketing and he has directed sessions to executives in over 100 corporations and been a speaker at many Retail Industry Conferences. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of a number of leading international companies and is also a corporate consultant, advising national and international corporations in marketing and strategy. Prof. Nueno has also written books, including: “Decline of the Main Shopping Street and the Birth of the Multichannel Model” (2013), “The consumer is back” (2014), “Expectations for the age of scarcity”
(2015) and "Can Marketing save the world" (2016).
Prof. Nueno teaches the "Retailing and Omnichannel" elective second year course.
