Session Description:
This session will explore the foundations of a career in impact: What is impact, and why does it matter to MBAs? It will dive into the impact landscape, examining the wide range of players - from ESG investors to NGOs, and provide insights into building a career in this evolving space. It will also include key trends and challenges shaping the impact sector, offering a comprehensive view of opportunities and considerations for aspiring impact professionals.
About the Speaker:
Karina is an IESE MBA alum; she spent 10 years working in profit-first organizations - from Investment Banking in Brazil to consulting at BCG - before deciding to pivot her career toward impact. She founded KLARO Impact - KLARO builds the business case for impact by bringing structured clarity to impact-informed business strategy and decision making. Karina also works with Mútua Systems, an impact intelligence platform, and as migration advisor. In this session, she will share what she learned during her journey and what she wishes she would have known before making the pivot to impact.
