Juan Gómez Vega - Neinor Homes Chief Investor Relations Officer

Juan is the head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at Neinor Homes, a Spanish listed residential developer. Prior to that he was the CEO of Vilamoura World, leading a turnaround for that Lone Star-owned asset in Algarve, Portugal. He joined Vilamoura from Lone Star Funds in Madrid, where he was a Director. Juan participated in the take-over of Neinor Homes, and led the acquisition of more than €400m of land plots that were capitalized into the company. Prior to joining Lone Star, he had been an investment professional with Grove Investors in Madrid, Deutsche Bank/RREEF in London, Morgan Stanley in New York and Pegasus Capital in Buenos Aires.

Since moving to Europe in 2009, Juan has been responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, managing and disposing of circa €10 billion of European Real Estate debt and equity investments, including Europe’s biggest residential developer IPO after the crisis (Neinor Homes in 2017). He has extensive experience across multiple asset classes (including office, retail, hotels, residential development and PRS, senior living and logistics) and countries (including Germany, UK, Poland, Netherlands, and lately Spain and Portugal).

Juan holds a Bachelor in Economics "cum laude" from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), an MSc. in Finance "magna cum laude" from UCEMA (Argentina) and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
